Perhaps it will help me find myself again after downloading my own Facebook data? 😆
via Facebook https://ift.tt/2JFkV7u Our tech columnist Brian Chen: "When I downloaded a copy of my Facebook data last week, I didn’t expect to see much. My profile is sparse, I rarely post anything on the site, and I seldom click on ads. (I’m what some call a Facebook 'lurker.') But when I opened my file, it was like opening Pandora’s box."

Be true to yourself. Just don't fake liking something you don't care about due to peer pressure or social expectation.

Messy Motherhood February 22, 2018 at 01:36PM

Abby is always good and gentle with other people, except for mommy. It is also true that she will always "reward" me with thousand crafts, hugs and kisses after every meltdown. It is OK. In this mostly very unforgiving adult's world, I would rather provide a safe harbor for her to come home and rest... 🤖👩‍👧💐⛈🌈🏡❤️#bizarretotbehavior #myfunnytoddlyvalentine
via Facebook http://ift.tt/2B1DZXX A tiny sweet, grandmotherly type approaches me at the end of one of our religious meetings. “Your daughter is so well behaved—you’re doing such a great job with her!” I smile graciously, hoping my grin is masking my deep-seated confusion. My daughter? My mind flashes to earlier in the day. To the screaming tantrums over (apparently incorrect) lunch choices. To the swatting hits when I don’t give her the makeup brush she’s crying for. To the timeouts—oh, the timeouts!—for “not listening,” followed by wailing “I’m sowwyyyyyyyy!” echoing through our townhouse (though, hopefully not through our shared wall—sorry, neighbors!) while she’s confined to her crib. The woman’s comments make me feel like a fraud. I’m doing such a great job with her? Me? Are you sure?

"The study found increased thickness in parts of the brain responsible for executive functioning, which includes working memory, attentional control and organizational skills. In short, music actually helped kids become more well-rounded. Not only that, they believe that musical training could serve as a powerful treatment of cognitive disorders like ADHD..."
